  1. wow! this book is really intense. I can’t believe the things that happened in this book. The only issue I, and the rest of the book club had with it was the fact that they are 7th graders doing the things they do in this book. it’s very issuey, but beautiful written. I would not be surprised at all if this book gets a printz or honor award. It’s still pretty clear in my memory from more then six months ago.
