The Plague, by Joanne Dahme

plagueSummary:  Fifteen year-old Nell bears an uncanny resemblance to the King’s  daughter, Princess Joan. The king brings Nell and her brother George from the murky steets of 14th-century London so that Nell can be the body double for the princess in times of danger. But the plague takes the princess’ life. Nell is forced by Joan’s brother, the Black Prince, to continue being the princess.

  1. This book wasn’t that great. It took me forever to read and get through. I did not sympathize with any of the characters. It was just a whatever book to me. I really did like the idea of black death and being able to control the rats that caused it though.
